Home Already!

We were initially told to expect to be in the hospital through early next week.  Then it changed to through Monday's chemo.  And then, Lexi got discharged today!  Her white count increased for two days in a row, and while the lab report stated her ANC was un-calculatable, our doctor said he was gonna make them try anyway, since they often skip it if its going to be low.  End result, we got to come home.  No one wanted to keep our resilient restless monkey contained in the hospital.  She needs to continue on antibiotics at home as a precaution, and we go into clinic as previously scheduled on Monday.  Her counts are still low, so we need to be careful, but she is doing well.  And we are all glad to be home.  Until the next time...which will happen.
