Thanks to Angel34, we got to go to an Iron Pigs game on June 20. It made a great fathers day trip with Shawn and my dad. While the Iron Pigs didn't win, Lexi still had a great time. Annie stayed home with Nan'al, since the game would have kept her out well past her bed time. Lexi liked having all the attention on her anyway.
After the game, Lexi got to go home with Momo and Pappy to their camper house. And she was scheduled to stay with them until Tuesday morning.
This means Annie got some alone time with Mommy and Daddy on Sunday. We got to spend lots of time together at Dorney Park, and finally got Annie to ride some rides.
Since Annie goes to daycare on Mondays, I finally got a day to myself. It only had to be planned a month in advance. I slept in, then spent most of the day sewing. Its amazing how my better I felt after having some me time. I need to find a way to make that happen more often. For my sanity and everyone elses.
The plan was to have Lexi come home Tuesday morning with Carol Ann when she came up to watch the girls. However, Lexi was starting to act really cranky Monday, so my mom brought her home early just in case she was having any issues. I think she was just missing being home.
Tuesday, Carol Ann watched both girls while I had an appointment. Wednesday, Lexi had PT/OT, and Annie came home from daycare with a note about her cough. So rather then having Thursday free, we had to take Annie to the doctor. She had a sinus infection, lost an ear tube, and that ear already had fluid, so an ear infection waiting to happen. (I swear she wants to have as many appointments as Lexi!) Friday Lexi went to clinic for her lab work to make sure she was good for Monday. Friday night was spent with both girls at Dorney. Saturday was a rainy mess, but we spent the morning playing with Laura, Ada, and Theo. In the afternoon everyone took a nap, and then we got some shopping done in the evening.
Sunday, we were suppose to go to Dorney for breakfast with the characters. But who wants plans that work out. Lexi woke up with a fever of 104. Off to the ER with her. She has an ear infection. So she and Shawn spent the morning in the ER while I took Annie to Dorney and met up with family. That afternoon we had a BBQ with family and the girls got to play with their cousins, KJ and Norah. Then we went to a concert at West Park in Allentown.
Monday, Lexi was suppose to go back into the hospital for round four. But because of the ER trip, it got pushed back to Tuesday. So I made plans for Lexi all day Monday. But again, who makes plans and expects them to stick. We started by going to a playdate with my Moms group at the park. While there, I get a call from daycare, they lost power and I have to go pick up Annie. Then I realize I have no carseat, Nan'al has it for when she picks Annie up while Lexi is in the hospital. So I swing by Shawns work for get his car seat. We get to daycare, and their power is already back, but Lexi wants to take Annie home. We get in the car, and Lexi wants "chicken, fries, yogurt, and a soda cup" (McDonalds) for lunch. By the time we get there, both kids are asleep. So I get my meal, park and sit in the car for 2+ hours to let them nap. If I tried to take Lexi home, she would have woken up. I may have been a little bored and cramped sitting in the car, but I'd rather Lexi get the sleep she needs. Then we met up with family again for another trip to Dorney. Can you tell we like that place? Best of all on this trip, Trenda and I left the kids with the Dads and rode some roller coasters!
Now, Tuesday we had back to the hospital for our last round on in patient chemo! Woo!
